For many patients, reaching a hospital is simply not possible. Displacement, severe injuries, limited mobility, and the challenges of daily survival can create significant barriers to accessing essential wound care. Across Gaza, many patients are living in displacement camps or temporary shelters, including those whose injuries prevent them from traveling for treatment. Our mobile wound care teams bring specialized assessment, treatment, dressing changes, follow-up care, and patient education directly to patients where they are. By providing care beyond the hospital walls, our clinicians ensure that patients who might otherwise be overlooked receive the ongoing support they need to heal.
